If you would like to transform your stage into an instrument of peace and shared humanity, we invite you to be part of the 7th Annual Daniel Pearl World Music Days. There is no financial obligation to participate.
All musicial genres are welcome.
Join R.E.M., Elton John, Alison Krauss and more as we continue the legacy of journalist-musician Daniel Pearl in uniting audiences around the globe in unity, tolerance and cross-cultural understanding. The only participation requirement is that you register on our website and issue a dedication at your scheduled October event(s) from stage, or in the printed program, reaffirming our shared commitment to "Harmony for Humanity."
Background: The world came to know Daniel Pearl as the Wall Street Journal reporter who was kidnapped and murdered by extremists in Pakistan shortly after 9/11. In addition to his journalism endeavors, Danny was an accomplished musician who used his music to spread friendship across cultural divides. World Music Days commemorates his October 10 birthday in a united stand against the culture of violence.
