What are your creative activites and goals? / どういうクリエイティブ活動、目標がありますか？）: As a publishing consultant and author agent, specializing in social sciences, scientific/technical/medical (bio/nanotech, IT/mobile technologies, healthcare), and professional/trade titles (preferably management-related), I enjoy business development, trends analysis, and project management of creative talent (writers, editors, translators, designers, photographers, artists) for global publishers and PR/media organizations, as well as helping authors negotiate the publishing process, starting with a winning book proposal to catch the eye of a major publishing house. I also enjoy introducing people to the fantastic array of resources at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Japan (10 databases, library, audio archive of press events dating back to the 40s and 50s, speaker program of top newsmakers and celebrities, affordable dining in 3 restaurants, free live music and art/photo exhibitions, award-winning films and documentaries, etc.).
